God Loves Us

1 John 4_10A

“Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” (1 John 4:10). Many people today try to reach God on their own works. However, this verse tells us that God took the initiative and reached out to us. Though we did not love Him, God loved us and sent His own Son, Jesus Christ, to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Paul wrote; “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8). Remember God’s boundless love for you today; a love that sent Jesus to die for you.

Have a Blessed Day!
