“Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.” (Psalms 63:3-4). David realized that God’s love which nourished and refreshed him was better than sustaining his own physical life. Because of God’s love, David praised and blessed God, lifting his hands to Him. Who or what do you love above all others? Some would say, family, money, or career. God should be our first love. He should be first in our hearts. We should praise God because of His great love for us. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). Take time to praise God today, He does love you.
Have a Blessed Day!
