“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” (Psalm 84:10). The Psalmist knew there was value dwelling in the house of God continually. In God’s House, he could experience intimacy and worship God intensively. There he would be at peace and in safety. However, we can not dwell in God’s house continually. As children of God, God dwells in us, and we are His temple (1 Cor. 6:19). Our heart, soul, mind, and bodies are to love God above all things. We are to worship Him continually and live a life of holiness no matter our location or vocation. “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” (Colossians 3:2).
Have a Blessed Day!
