“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” (Micah 6:8). This verse communicates to us three things God requires of us, and they are good in His eyes. First, to do justly. We are to be fair to everyone; to treat them as we want to be treated. Secondly, we are to love mercy. The word for mercy (hesed) is also translated lovingkindness. So we are to love lovingkindness and show this loyal love to others. Finally, we are to walk humbly with our God. We are to live our lives prayerfully trusting and depending on God rather than relying on ourselves. Remember this is a commitment that the Lord requires. It is not merely something we do if we feel like it. Put this verse in your heart and live it.
Have a Blessed Day!
