Waiting on God

Psa 27_14B

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.” (Psalm 27:14). We live in an instant society. We have fast food, fast cars and more.  But notice the verse “Wait on the Lord.” Obviously, waiting on God has nothing to do with being idle. So many times we allow our fleshly desires to control our lives, and we get ahead of God. Slow down and let the Holy Spirit take control and wait on God’s timing. C.H. Spurgeon said; “Wait at his door with prayer; wait at his foot with humility; wait at his table with service; wait at his window with expectancy.”  God knows what is best for your life and mine.

Have a Blessed Day!
