“O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth. Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.” (Psalm 96:1-2) Singing is one way in which we praise God for all He is and has done and is doing. Over time, I have watch people in different locations as I was called to speak. Some people as they sing, you can see it on their faces, they are really praising God. But there are those, whose lips never move, and they stand very firmly and straight-faced. I have often wondered if that is a reflection of their life outside of the church. They go through life preoccupied, there is no time to praise God. Peter wrote, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:9). If you can’t praise God for what He has done for you, then maybe in your heart he hasn’t done anything. Today take a moment to examine your heart. Ask yourself, do I indeed know Jesus? Do I, in fact, have a song in my heart? If you said no, Jesus is waiting for your call, go to my website, http://www.T4GM.org and click on the “How To Become A Christian”. Jesus is ready to put a song in your heart and give you joy. If you do know Christ, take a moment to praise Him.
Have a Blessed Day!
