“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” (Philippians 2:12). What did Paul mean by the phrase “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling?” Notice he did not say work for. Every day, we need to allow the Holy Spirit to do some introspection within our hearts, to make certain they we are indeed in Christ as evidence by our daily living. We work out our salvation by walking with the Holy Spirit, as He guides us in the will of God. Are you walking in God’s will? Is the light of Christ that is shining in us, “so shining before men, that they are seeing our good works and glorifying the Father Who is in heaven?” Do some personal reflection right now to see exactly how it is between Him and you as you seek to work out your salvation.
Have a Blessed Day!
