Put God First

Psa 84_10A.jpg

“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” (Psalm 84:10). David is telling us that he would rather have the lowliest job in the temple, an usher than to dwell among the wicked. David made a choice to be in the house of God. Now, we don’t attend church 24/7, however, we can make the same choice. We need to ask ourselves, what are we looking at, where are we going, what are we hearing? What are we putting ourselves into, when we have to choose to either be around God or around the wicked? You can make a choice to put yourself in a good place and around good Christian people. Try to focus on God, not your surroundings. Begin your day with God and focus on Him throughout the day, it is up to you.

Have a Blessed Day!
