“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Cor 5:21) look at this verse carefully, it states “He hath made Him.” that means God the Father made Jesus, who knew no sin, to be sin for us. On the cross, our sin was put on Him as he endured the wrath of God. The wrath that we deserved. Isaiah wrote; “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:6). God laid the iniquity of us all on Jesus. He did this so we could become the righteousness of God through Jesus. This means that God sees every believer in Jesus, free from all condemnation, displaying the righteousness of God in Him. What an example of God’s love.
Have a Blessed Day!
