“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” (Philippians 2:12) Notice, Paul did not say work for your salvation, but work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Salvation is a gift, once received it is our responsibility to cultivate our salvation. This is a daily process called sanctification. We are to work out our salvation as we listen to the Holy Spirit Who guides us in the will of God. The key to working out your salvation is found in continually being obedient to God. Spend time in God’s Word and listen to the Spirit; be obedient to His Call.
Have a Blessed Day!
