He Died For All

1 John 2_2B

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world” (1 John 2:2). This verse speaks of Christ’s work on the cross. The word “propitiation” means satisfaction or appeasement. In other words, Christ’s death on the cross satisfied God’s demand for justice and averted God’s holy wrath against believers sin. Notice Jesus died not only for believers but for the sins of the whole world. Jesus took your place on the cross and died for you so that through faith in Him you can have eternal life.
