Meditate On The Word

Psa 119_97-98A

O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.” (Psalm 119:97-98). Have you ever seen a cow chew his cud? He grinds it over and over in his mouth to obtain all the nourishment he can out of it. That is the way meditation is. We constantly dwell on the Word of God, allowing it to move through our hearts and our minds over and over until the Word becomes a part of us. Imagine the pleasure God enjoys when He observes us, as we meditate upon His Word, getting everything we can from it in order to understand Him more and how to better conduct ourselves. David did realize one thing; the world is always with us. It is only by reading and meditating on the Word of God can we become wiser than the world and defeat Satan’s schemes. Chew on the Word today; get into the Bible and allow the Bible to get into you.

Have a Blessed Day!
