“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.” Titus 2:11-12. Paul wrote this to Titus who labored with him in the ministry. Paul literally said that the grace of God which brings salvation has appeared to all. Peter wrote; “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9). In other words, God is not willing that any should perish, but that all come to know Christ as their very own personal Savior and Lord.
