Glory To Come

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” (2 Corinthians 4:17). We do not like to suffer any kind of trial or affliction. However, this verse says that our affliction is but for a moment, compared to the glory that awaits us. Paul says that this glory outweighs all our afflictions and will last forever. So when the trials come, remember that they are for but a moment compared to the eternal glory we will have in heaven, in the presence of Christ.
