“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” (Micah 6:8). 400 years before Christ, the prophet Micah had the right idea of what it is to love God and your neighbor. First, to walk humbly with God means to love Him and to be obedient to Him. Secondly, we must show mercy and be just to all mankind. It reminds you of the words of Christ “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” (Matthew 22:37-39). Do what the Lord requires of you; do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.
Have a Blessed Day!
