“But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” (Galatians 6:14) Paul had nothing he could boast about except the cross of Christ. He had sold out to Jesus lock, stock, and barrel, so much so that he could declare to all, that the world no longer had any allurement to him. Are you sold out to Jesus or does the world still grip you? Do you “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” (Mark 12:30)? Be totally committed to Jesus today and every day.
“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth” (Psalm 46:10). If you spend much time watching television or reading the news, you will notice one thing, rarely will you see anyone exalting God. But one thing remains, He is still God. Today is Sunday, the day we gather as believers to worship God as the body of Christ. Will you be there when the roll is called? God said I will be exalted. It is our privilege to exalt Him. How are you doing? Have a Blessed Day! T4GM.ORG
“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.” (Philippians 4:4). This verse calls us to rejoice continually throughout our lives. A key word in this verse is “alway.” it is hard to rejoice sometimes. But, we are called to rejoice, when our lives are falling apart when our marriage is on the rocks when we have lost a loved one. Whenever a problem arises, rejoice in the Lord. We are to focus on the blessing we have in Christ and be grateful regardless of the circumstances. Circumstances may determine our happiness but only true joy comes from Jesus. Rejoice in the Lord today. Have a Blessed Day! T4GM.ORG
“Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.” (Psalm 145:2-3). David knew the value of praising the Lord. Consider the blessings that God has blessed you with this year. Have you taken just a moment out of your busy schedule just to praise and thank the Lord for all He has done? Don’t wait until you get to church today to praise the Lord. Praise Him right now! Notice the pronoun “I will bless Thee, and I will praise Thy name.” It is up to you to Praise the Lord.
“O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth. Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.” (Psalm 96:1-2) Singing is one way in which we praise God for all He is and has done and is doing. Over time, I have watch people in different locations as I was called to speak. Some people as they sing, you can see it on their faces, they are really praising God. But there are those, whose lips never move, and they stand very firmly and straight-faced. I have often wondered if that is a reflection of their life outside of the church. They go through life preoccupied, there is no time to praise God. Peter wrote, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:9). If you can’t praise God for what He has done for you, then maybe in your heart he hasn’t done anything. Today take a moment to examine your heart. Ask yourself, do I indeed know Jesus? Do I, in fact, have a song in my heart? If you said no, Jesus is waiting for your call, go to my website, http://www.T4GM.org and click on the “How To Become A Christian”. Jesus is ready to put a song in your heart and give you joy. If you do know Christ, take a moment to praise Him. Have a Blessed Day! T4GM.ORG
“Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD. Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’S name is to be praised.” (Psalm 113:1-3). Our God is worthy of universal praise. Have you taken a moment today just to Praise the Lord? Think of all the blessings He has graciously bestowed upon you, you probably can’t even fathom them all. Just praise Him today. Praise Him for all that He has done and is doing for you. Praise The Lord. Have a Blessed Day! T4GM.ORG
