Sharing Jesus

Matt 9_38But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:36-38). Jesus had compassion on the lost house of Israel. He said they were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd. It is the same in our world today; the harvest is truly great, but there are very few laborers. When was the last time, you shared Christ with someone? I don’t mean living your life in front of them as a Christian. I mean verbally sharing the Good News that Jesus saves. Telling them that Jesus loves them and that He died in their place to give them eternal life. The key is prayer. Pray the Lord will send out witnesses to share the Gospel. Pray that God through the Holy Spirit will give you the power and courage to share today. Lord put someone in our paths today that we may share your love with their hearts.

Only Jesus

John 14_6B

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). Someone has said that Jesus could not possibly be the only way to God, that there are many ways to heaven. Many religions would want you to believe that. But the Bible tells us only one way, that way is through Jesus. Peter said it this way “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12). It is not by works, duty, or birth. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Salvation is not about what you can do to get to heaven, it is about what Christ has already done. Jesus completed salvation on the cross. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.” (Acts 16:31). Sharing Jesus

1 John 4_2

“Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:” (1 John 4:2). One way to determine whether a person is a true witness of Jesus or not, is to ask them “Who is Jesus?” If they do not teach that Jesus is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, their teaching is false, and they are not a Christian. No person can recommend Jesus if they personally do not know Him. If you do know Jesus, you have an opportunity every day to share Christ. As the verse says; the Holy Spirit in you confesses that Jesus has come in the flesh; He is the Son of God. Share Christ with someone today, you may be the only Jesus they ever see.

I Am Not Ashamed

2 Tim 1_12

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day” (2 Tim 1:12). Paul is sharing with Timothy that he believes in Jesus and is not ashamed of Him and that his confidence lay in the person of God. He believes that God is faithful. The key word in this verse is ashamed. If you are ashamed of Jesus in your daily life, then maybe you don’t truly believe in Him. Perhaps you don’t fully trust Him. Jesus said, “ For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.” (Luke 9:25). Stand up for Jesus today and be a witness of what He has done for you.

But God

Eph 2_4A

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us” (Ephesians 2:4). In verses 1-3 of the second chapter of Ephesians, Paul tells us what we were without Christ. We were dead in trespasses and sin; controlled by the prince of the power of the air, Satan. Also, we were children of disobedience and wrath fulfilling the desires of our flesh. Then we come to two little words, “BUT GOD.” Wow, what a change God makes in our lives. Because of His love for us, when we place our faith in Christ, God takes us out of darkness into His marvelous Light. God loves you, and He desires you to know His Son, Jesus. Blinded From The Light

2 Cor 4_4A

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” (2 Corinthians 4:4). The god of this world is Satan, and he is the master of confusion. Satan is doing the same thing today that he did in the Garden of Eden. He is lying! Through his lies, he has blinded the minds of unbelievers and kept them from believing that Jesus is “the way, the truth, and the life.” They are unwilling to run to the Light that he might be freed from the darkness of sin. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (John. 8:12). Know Jesus, Know The Father

Matt 11_27A

All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.” (Matthew 11:27). If there is any question about how to get to heaven, this verse has the answer. Notice the words of Jesus;  “No man knows Jesus except the Father and no man knows the Father except the Son and the ones that the Son will reveal to the Father.” Only Jesus can reveal the Father. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6). In order to know the Father, you must know Christ as your personal Savior, If you do not know Christ, go to my website http://www.T4GM.org and click the link “How To Become A Christian?” If you know Jesus, you will know the Father.
