Made Alive In Christ

Rom 8_11

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” (Romans 8:11). Within this verse, is the difference between the children of this world and the children of God. As children of God, once we by faith accept Christ as our Savior, we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit and are twice-born people. We are born physically and we born by the Holy Spirit which quickens our bodies and makes us alive in Christ. Through the Holy Spirit and God’s Word, we are daily changed and become Christ-like. The children of the world do not have the Holy Spirit within them but are dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1). Are you a child of God or a child of this world?  Do you know Jesus as your personal Savior, If not go to my website http://www.T4GM.org and click the link “How To Become A Christian?”

Living For God

Col 1_10A

“That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God” (Colossians 1:10). The key word in this passage is “worthy.” Does your walk or lifestyle ascribe worthship to Christ? Examine your heart to see if there is something in your life that is not pleasing to Him. Notice two things to help us walk worthy. First, “be fruitful in every good work.” Whatever you do, do it for Jesus. Secondly, “increase in the knowledge of God.” To know more about God, you need to spend time in His Word. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you and speak to you. As children of God, we are to live one day at a time in a manner that would glorify and please their Lord. Walk worthy of the Lord and please Him today.

To Be Christ-like

2 Cor 3_18C

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 3:18). When we look into the Word of God, it is like a mirror reflecting the glory of the Lord. The more we are in His Word, the more we see God and we begin a gradual transformation. We slowly become Christ-like and reflect His glory in our character. Who are you reflecting today? Let the glory of Jesus shine through you.

Yield To God

Rom 6_16

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness.” (Romans 6:16). The word “servant” (doulos) which means slave. A person is either the slave of sin or of God. Ask yourself this question; Do I yield to sin, that is, serve sin or do I yield to God, that is, serve God? Either sin is your master or God is your Master and the way you live determines your destiny. If we yield to sin, we shall die; but if we yield to God, we shall be counted righteous and live eternally. Serve God with all your heart and live unto Him.

Do You Know Jesus?

Heb 1_3

“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high” (Hebrews 1:3). The last phrase of this verse, speaks of Jesus and His finished work on the cross. When Jesus said “It is finished” (John 19:30), He accomplished all that was needed for our salvation. Once our sins were washed away, Jesus sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. With our redemption completed, the only thing we need to do is accept God’s gift of salvation. Created In Christ Jesus

Eph 2_10C

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10). When you place your faith in Christ, God begins a work in you. The word “workmanship”  in the Greek is “poieme.” From that word, we get our English word poem. Every child of God is a work of art, a masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus unto good works. We are not saved by our works, but to do good works. God has a path of good works for each believer, and He will perform them in and through each of us as we walk by faith. Notice it is God doing the work in us, not we ourselves. Let God do a good work through you today.

Watch And Be Ready

Matt 25_13A

“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” (Matthew 25:13). Jesus is returning to this earth one day. First, for His church and then 7 years later to set up His kingdom. You nor anyone else knows the day or hour in which He will return. But He tells us to “Watch.” Are you prepared to see Jesus face to face? Is your heart right with Him? Do you know Jesus as your personal Savior, If not go to my website http://www.T4GM.ORG and click the link “How To Become A Christian?” Watch and be ready.
