One Heart

Ezek 11_19

And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:” (Ezekiel 11:19). They say that wherever your love is that is where your heart will be. When we accept Christ as Lord and Savior, at that moment we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. God then begins a process to change our divided heart into one heart. It is one heart for Him and Him alone. Our heart of stone God makes into a heart of flesh that beats for Him. Do you love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength? Let your heart beat for God, make it one heart for Him.

Sing To The LORD

Psa 96_1

O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth. Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.” (Psalm 96:1-2) Singing is one way in which we praise God for all He is and has done and is doing. Over time, I have watch people in different locations as I was called to speak. Some people as they sing, you can see it on their faces, they are really praising God. But there are those, whose lips never move, and they stand very firmly and straight-faced. I have often wondered if that is a reflection of their life outside of the church. They go through life preoccupied, there is no time to praise God. Peter wrote, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:9). If you can’t praise God for what He has done for you, then maybe in your heart he hasn’t done anything. Today take a moment to examine your heart. Ask yourself, do I indeed know Jesus? Do I, in fact, have a song in my heart? If you said no, Jesus is waiting for your call, go to my website, http://www.T4GM.org and click on the “How To Become A Christian”. Jesus is ready to put a song in your heart and give you joy. If you do know Christ, take a moment to praise Him.

Turn Back To God

Zech 1_3

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Zechariah 1:3). Robert Robinson wrote the words to the song “Come Thy Fount Of Every Blessing.” In the lyrics we find these words “Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it; Prone to leave the God I love:” Have you wandered away from God? The Lord issues a clear and straightforward command; “Turn back to me.” A plain and simple call to anyone who desires to restore the fellowship with God that was broken by our sin. It is up to you to freely give your love to Him. Repent and turn back to God, and He will turn back to you.

But This MAN

Hebrews 10_12

“And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God” (Hebrews 10:11-12). These two verses offer a contrast between the old covenant and the new covenant in Christ. In the old covenant, the priest stood continually offering the blood of bulls, goats, and lambs, which never took away the sins of the people. But in verse 12 “this man”, Jesus Christ offered Himself once, for the sins of the whole world. When He had accomplished this, He sat down on the right hand of God. Why did Jesus sit down? Because salvation was finished. When Jesus spoke those words in John 19:30, “It is finished,” God had provided a way for mankind to be saved, and that way is through Christ and Christ alone. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. Time With God

Isa 50_4AThe Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.” (Isaiah 50:4). The prophet Isaiah seemed to spend his early mornings with the Lord. He said that God awakened him so to hear Him and give him an learned tongue with which to speak. God has chosen us who are His to share His Word. All we need is to be willing to listen, a heart that is receptive, and a tongue to proclaim what He has said. Jesus said, “Ye shall be my witnesses.” (Acts 1:8). Spend time with the Lord today in His Word and in prayer. Share with those around you what He has taught you.

Jesus Is LORD Of All

Rev 1_8A

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8). Jesus declared that He is the Alpha and Omega, that is the first and last characters of the Greek alphabet. He also calls Himself the Almighty. In other words, Jesus is the beginning, the end, everything in between now and for eternity. All who place their trust in Him as personal Lord and Savior are adopted into God’s eternal family. Trust in Christ and be saved today. Make Him your Lord and Savior of your life. If Jesus is the ALMIGHTY, then, He is the ruler of all and permanently in charge of your life. If you do not know the Almighty King Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord, go to my website http://www.T4GM.org and click the link “How To Become A Christian.”

One In Christ

Eph 2_14

For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:” (Ephesians 2:14-16). To understand what Paul was trying to convey we need to know what wall he is talking about. Within the temple, there a wall separated the Court of the Jews from the Court of Gentiles. Through His death on the cross, Jesus broke down that wall and remove the hostility making both one. We are all one in Christ. Jew, Gentile, black, white, red, and yellow; Jesus died for all to makes us one. As Jesus said in His prayer; “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” (John 17:21). It is time we set aside all our differences in the church and become one that the world may know Christ. We are one in Christ.
