Getting Right With God

1 John 1_9C

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9). Why do we tend to make so difficult the things God has made so simple. If we confess our sins, He will forgive us and cleanse us from all our unrighteousness. You confess and He forgives. It is that simple. Don’t put off the need to get your heart right with God today. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ….and be FORGIVEN AND SAVED. Desire For God

Psa 63_1A

“O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.” (Psalm 63:1). When your body is thirsty you drink and quench your thirst, when you are hungry you feed your body. Is your spiritual soul that way. Is there a desire in your heart for God? Do you thirst and hunger after God and His Word? Someone has said, “Sin will keep you away from this book (the Bible) or this book will keep you from sin.” The more we read God’s Word, the more we should fall in love with Him. If you are not in God’s Word daily, start today. Learn more about Him and what He has done for you.

God’s Word

Joshua 1_8A

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua 1:8). This verse reminds and encourages us to spend time in God’s Word. Some people refer to this time with God as their Daily Quiet Time. Truly, what a good practice that will lead you to hear what God is saying directly to you. Obedience is the key to a successful and prosperous Christian life.  As the psalmist said; “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” (Psalm 119:18). What a wonderful prayer to God to open our eyes that we may see Him. Spend time in God’s Word. Focus on God’s Word all day long, let it be a part of your daily life.

Praise The Lord

Psa 100_1

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.” (Psalm 100:1) As Christians, we are called to praise God. I am sure many of you have already praise Him this morning for all the blessings He has given you. But, what about during your day? Are you going to praise Him as you interact with those around you? Jesus said, “These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.” (John 15:11). Inside us is the joy of Jesus. Is that what those around you see every day, or do they see worry or complaining? You need to let your joy shine today so that what Jesus said can happen, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16). Let your joy shine as praise so other will praise Him too.

Meditate On God

Psa 104_34

I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.” (Psalm 104:33-34). Have you ever just taken an hour or so to meditate on God and His goodness toward you? Have you ever just burst forth in praise to Him? I believe the majority of Christian do not spend enough time with God. They don’t have that intimate moment with the Father, Son, and The Holy Spirit. Take time today to meditate on God, you will find it to be so sweet. As long as you live, be glad in the Lord and sing praises to Him.
