Redeemed By The Blood

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:” (1 Peter 1:18-19). In Peter’s day, the Jews thought since they were a child of Abraham they would be going to heaven. Others worshiped idols of gold and silver and relied on them to provide a future. But, these verses tell us that only one thing can redeem us; the atoning blood of Christ, who is our perfect Lamb. Trust in Christ today, let Him redeem you and be your Lord and Savior. Salvation For All

“For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.” (Luke 2:30-32). Unlike the rest of the Jewish leaders at the temple that day, Simeon recognized who this child was. He knew that this child would bring salvation not only to the Jews but to the Gentiles as well. Thank you, God, for providing salvation through your Son Jesus. Faith In Christ

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:” (Philippians 3:9). Paul’s desire was to be found in Christ, not by his merits but by the accomplishment of Christ which resulted in salvation for all. True Biblical Christianity is the only religion in which, God reached down to man. The Bible says “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” (John 1:14). Christ became human like you and me to bear our sins upon the cross. To die in our place. All other religions are striving to reach God, whoever he may be to them. Paul wrote, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9). You can not get to God on what you do, only on what Christ did at Calvary, It Is Finished. Jesus Saves

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25). This verse speaks of Jesus and His present ministry in heaven. First, Jesus is alive and is interceding for us. Can you imagine no one better than the Son of God to pray for each of us? Secondly, for those who come to God through faith in Jesus, He is always able to save completely. Salvation begins here on earth when you place your faith in Christ as Lord and Savior. But one day our salvation will be complete, as we are glorified in His presence in heaven, “We shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is,” (1 John 3:2). Have you come to God? He Died For All

1 John 2_2B

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world” (1 John 2:2). This verse speaks of Christ’s work on the cross. The word “propitiation” means satisfaction or appeasement. In other words, Christ’s death on the cross satisfied God’s demand for justice and averted God’s holy wrath against believers sin. Notice Jesus died not only for believers but for the sins of the whole world. Jesus took your place on the cross and died for you so that through faith in Him you can have eternal life. Do You Know?

1 John 5_13A.jpg

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (1 John 5:13). In talking to people about their salvation, I have heard many say, I hope I am saved or I think I am saved. This passage clearly states that you may know you have eternal life. The verb “may know” means it is settled and is absolute knowledge. In other words, there is no doubting, once you know, you know. If there is doubt in you, then I believe you need to make sure that Christ resides in your heart. I Am The Door

John 10_9C

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” (John 10:9) Jesus says in this passage, that He is the Door. All who enter through the Door will be saved. Once you become a child of God, like a shepherd, Jesus provides for His sheep. He guards and protects His sheep. He gives them food for spiritual growth. Jesus provides for all their needs 24 hours a day. David knew exactly what kind of shepherd the Lord was when he wrote: “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1).
