Jesus Is LORD Of All

Rev 1_8A

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8). Jesus declared that He is the Alpha and Omega, that is the first and last characters of the Greek alphabet. He also calls Himself the Almighty. In other words, Jesus is the beginning, the end, everything in between now and for eternity. All who place their trust in Him as personal Lord and Savior are adopted into God’s eternal family. Trust in Christ and be saved today. Make Him your Lord and Savior of your life. If Jesus is the ALMIGHTY, then, He is the ruler of all and permanently in charge of your life. If you do not know the Almighty King Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord, go to my website http://www.T4GM.org and click the link “How To Become A Christian.”

One In Christ

Eph 2_14

For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:” (Ephesians 2:14-16). To understand what Paul was trying to convey we need to know what wall he is talking about. Within the temple, there a wall separated the Court of the Jews from the Court of Gentiles. Through His death on the cross, Jesus broke down that wall and remove the hostility making both one. We are all one in Christ. Jew, Gentile, black, white, red, and yellow; Jesus died for all to makes us one. As Jesus said in His prayer; “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” (John 17:21). It is time we set aside all our differences in the church and become one that the world may know Christ. We are one in Christ.

Believe

John 8_51

Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.” (John 8:51). What Jesus is saying in this verse is that the one who keeps God’s Word will never die. Keeping Jesus’ Word is synonymous with believing in Him. Jesus also said; “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:18). Those who have believed in Jesus will escape condemnation, however, those who have not believed are condemned already with no way to escape eternal death. Do you want the eternal life Jesus has promised, instead of eternal death? Believe in Jesus today. Better Things

Hebrews 9_6

“But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.” (Hebrews 6:9). The writer of Hebrews was expressing his confidence in those believers he was writing to. He believed they would not fall away, but move on to things that accompany salvation. Things such as maturity in Christ, the meat of the Word, living in true righteousness, walking by faith, and so much more. Paul wrote these words of encouragement; “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” (Titus 2:11-14). Beloved, you were meant for better things. Live like you are saved, live for Jesus.

Fear And Obey

Ecc 12_13Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13). Solomon said it all when he wrote this verse. There is nothing in our lives more important than fearing God and obeying Him.  Take a moment right now and examine your heart. Are you fearing God and obeying Him? If not, then get your priorities right through repentance and ask for forgiveness. The psalmist wrote; “Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.” (Psalm 112:1). Remember this is the whole duty of man.

Love Of God

Jer 31_3A

The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee” (Jer. 31:3). “I have loved thee with an everlasting love,” let that sink in for a moment. God’s love is everlasting. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son” (John 3:16). Jesus said, “As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you” (John 15:9). “But the fruit of the Spirit is love” (Gal 5:22). Do you see that His love for us flows from the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? Since you are His Child, that love is in you. Paul wrote; “And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13). Let His love shine through you today.
